Axe Library Research & Technology Center

Located on the first floor of Axe Library right next to the INFO Desk, the R&TC is open weekdays from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

    • Whether you’re working on a small personal project or a big class assignment; whether you’re a seasoned researcher or a beginner; whether you’re looking for general information or something incredibly specific we have the skills to help you at any point in your research process. Drop by or chat with us!
  • Sources
    • We know how to help you use Library Services resources to find what you need, and we’re happy to lend a hand and share our knowledge—ask us if you need help navigating Summon or our Online Databases.
  • Citations
    • Having trouble citing your sources or keeping track of your research? We provide access to RefWorks and can help you with all your citation needs.
  • Digital Resources
    • Having trouble accessing an eBook in our holdings? Need help locating a journal article or database? Talk to us—we got you!
  • Tech
    • Having tech issues or have questions about AI? Let us know—we can help!
  • Printing
    • Need help at any point in the GusPrint printing process? Let us know! We can help you get your print jobs uploaded, formatted, and printed.
  • Banana Bucks
    • We can help you get your Banana Bucks loaded so you can print at any of the GusPrint Stations across campus.
  • General Q&A
    • We can answer questions about Library Services provided by Axe Library or the Crossland Technology Center Library. We can also tell you where people and services are located and help you get the help you need.

Instruction Services

In order to help users fully use and evaluate information sources, our librarians provide instruction to classes as well as individuals. Some key Services include designing exercises, creating guides to resources, and teaching search strategies.

We promote Information & Digital Literacy skills as the critical tools needed to evaluate sources in today's information age. Additional information in the ACRL framework for Information Literacy.
